Hike up the Kongmaru la pass, steep climb to Kongmaru pass. Once you get to the top of the pass you can see the prayer flags on the top of the pass and all around you lies the mountain ranges of Ladakh.
Mmoving down to Nimaling a grazing area for the nomads of the Markha valley. Nimaling has a tea tent, you can stop have some tea and keep moving down towards Thathungtse. Camp along the river side.
Hike down Thathungtse and keep heading towards the small village of Yakrupal.
Keep walking through the remote Langthang valley, follow the valley down until the division, cross the river and follow the valley to the left along the Langthang Chu River.
Following the stream as it will reveal several gorges. Leaving the stream towards the left we finally ascend gradually to the top of Charchar la(Jung Lam) (4950m).
Descend steep along glacial trail to the base of the pass.
