On your arrival in Leh, you will be greeted by our representative, and a cab will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. We highly recommend that you have enough rest for the day. If you have medical needs due to the high altitude, Snowbird Himalaya staff will be there for you. In the evening, you will meet your companion for the next few days of your motorbike tour, the “ROYAL ENFIELD” motorcycle.

Start your journey with a scenic ride to Thiksey Monastery, situated about 19 km from Leh. After exploring Thiksey, continue your ride to Hemis Monastery, located approximately 40 km from Thiksey. As the largest monastery in Ladakh, Hemis is not only a spiritual hub but also has a museum of ancient antiques.

After breakfast, you ascend straight towards the mighty Khardungla, staggering at an elevation of 5,359 m above sea level. On reaching Khardungla pass, you will take a break for a hot cup of tea or coffee, and as you look back, you will see the stunning view of Leh city and its surroundings. You are at the height of Mt Everest base camp on a motorbike, stunning indeed, and traverse Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes. Enjoy the magnificent views and descend into the Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and the famous Maitreya Buddha. Explore the Hunder dunes, a camel ride on Bactrian camels is recommended.

The ride from Nubra Valley to Turtuk (80 km / 3–4 hrs) follows the Shyok River, offering breathtaking views of rugged mountains, fertile valleys, and charming Ladakhi villages. Turtuk, the last village on the Indian side of the border with Pakistan, is famous for its unique Balti culture, apricot orchards, and traditional wooden houses. After exploring the village, experience the famous Balti kitchen where lunch will be served. You’ll ride back to Nubra (80 km / 3 hrs) along the same scenic route. This stretch is a perfect blend of adventure and borderland exploration.

Depart early from Nubra, and drive through the Shyok Valley, which offers a rugged route with spectacular views. The direct route is adventurous and less crowded, but be cautious as the road conditions can vary. will stop at Durbuk for lunch and arrive at Pangong Lake, famous for its changing colours and being a filming location for many movies.

Wake up to a mesmerising sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, start your journey back to Leh via Chang La, another of the high mountain passes. Stop at the Chang La Pass to enjoy tea at the cafe and visit the small temple. On arrival in Leh, relax or do some last-minute shopping in the local markets.

▪️Morning / Afternoon: Arrive in Agra by train, cab, or private transfer. Check into your hotel and relax after your journey.
▪️Afternoon: Visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore its grand Mughal architecture.
▪️Evening: Head to the Mehtab Bagh gardens for a stunning sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. This is the best time for peaceful photography with fewer crowds.
▪️Dinner: Enjoy authentic Mughlai cuisine at the hotel. Overnight stay in Agra.
